BURNS, HAROLD

88, of The Villages, FL, formerly of Bayonne, passed away on January 31, 2017. Born in Bayonne, he was long time resident. He was employed by General Dynamics, Avenel, for over 40 years. He proudly served in the Navy from 1946 to 1951, and was a member of the VFW, Joyce Herbert Post. He was predeceased by his wife, Audrey (nee: Dames); and his brothers, Edward, Robert, James and Norman Burns. He is survived by his daughters, Virginia Pona (Daniel) and Phyllis Spano (Salvatore); his grandchildren, Jaime and Matthew Pona and Nicole Spano; his sisters, Edith Lesczynski and Lois Burns; and his grandpuppy, Daisy.
