HOBOKEN — The wake for Father Michael Guglielmelli of St. Francis will take place Wednesday from 1p.m. to 9 p.m. with a vigil from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The funeral will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 15.
Guglielmelli and his sister Dolores, were killed last week in a car accident in Freehold N.J.
In order to accommodate the large number of anticipated attendees several streets will be closed according to the city.
Jefferson Street from Fourth Street to Second Street will be closed to thru traffic and only open to funeral attendees and Third Street from Madison Street to Adams Street will be closed to all traffic.
Those who will be driving to the church to pay their respects will first need to see a police officer or attendant at Third and Adams streets, Third and Madison streets, or Fourth and Jefferson streets to pick up a parking permit. Parking will be available at, Adams Street from Second Street to Fourth Street on both sides, Madison Street from Second Street to Fourth Street on both sides, and Fourth Street from Adams Street to Madison Street on both sides.
Space inside St. Francis is limited but according to the city, three video monitors and three tents with seating for 150 people will be in place on Third Street from Madison Street to Jefferson Street for extra viewing of services
