The Friends of the Hoboken Public Library are working feverishly to produce Novel Night Volume 6, which will be held on Saturday evening, Oct. 21st, in host homes throughout Hoboken.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of this wonderful dining event, which features elegant dinner parties based on literary themes in private homes and establishments throughout our fine city. We still have room for a few more hosts, and the more the merrier! All proceeds will benefit the Hoboken Public Library. Past year’s funds have been used to purchase preservation materials for the library’s historical collection, the new front doors (in progress), and other enhancements to both the historic building and the library collection.
If you love to entertain, cook and/or eat, and have a favorite book or cuisine you want to share with an enthusiastic audience (friends, other Hobokenites that we will match with you, or a combination of the two), this is the perfect event.
The Hoboken Public Library is the jewel of Hoboken. The just-renovated, soon-to-be-opened lower level will be adding programming and event space to enhance the already rich, diverse cultural offerings of the library. Please contact the Friends at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible for more information or to sign-up! Can’t wait to hear from you!
