JERSEY CITY CANDIDATE -- Lennart "Erik-Anders" Nilsson

JERSEY CITY — Lennart “Erik-Anders” Nilsson is running for councilperson-at-large in Jersey City.
A resident of Jersey City since 1994, Nilsson previously ran for City Council in 2005, and was also considered as a possible temporary council replacement for the seat vacated by Marino Vega in 2010
Nilsson, an actor and founder of the Jersey City Peace Movement, is a volunteer community activist, who will be running as an independent in the November municipal election.
He served as chief executive officer Jersey City Arts and Culture Council and has been an advocate for the homeless. He has also been involved in organizing numerous cultural events throughout the city.
