JERSEY CITY – Former Assemblyman Charles Mainor, who is running for mayor in Jersey City, reportedly had what is being called a “heart episode” on July 19.
Apparently rushed to Bayonne Medical Center for treatment, Mainor’s Facebook page listed his condition as stable as of Wednesday night.
He posted a brief video giving an update about his political campaign.
But the website also asked followers for prayers for his recovery. Mainor is 50 years old served three two-year terms as state Assemblyman representing part of Jersey City and all of Bayonne.
