Haworth Superintendent of Schools Jennifer Montesano will replace Interim Superintendent of Schools Kenneth Knops in late November.

SECAUCUS – The Secaucus Board of Education selected a new superintendent of schools at their July 20th meeting, according to Board President Jack McStowe.
Haworth Superintendent of Schools Jennifer Montesano will take the position in late November, McStowe said. She will be replacing Interim Superintendent of Schools Kenneth Knops, who has been in that position since November 2015.
Montesano has served as the Haworth super since July 2014, per Linkedin. Her profile says she also was a principal for the Clifton Board of Education from 2008 to 2014.Vice principal stints in Sparta and Little Falls also pad her resume, McStowe said.
Of her abilities, McStowe commented, “She has a lot of good qualities.” Of all the contenders for the position, “she came out as the best candidate. She’s also very community minded.”
Montesano also brought the Orton Gillingham, a dyslexia curriculum, to Haworth, according to McStowe.
