DE LUCA, MARY

A funeral service was held Aug. 5 for Mary (Gerry Marie) De Luca, 90, of Union City. She passed away Aug. 1. She was born in County Cork, Ireland and lived for most of her life in Union City. Gerry was a supervisor for the Union City Unemployment Office for many years before retiring. Known as Aunt Gerry to many, she was beloved for her warm heart and gentle smile. She was the wife of the late Mario De Luca and the mother of John and Germaine De Luca. She was the grandmother of Alysa De Luca and the aunt of Joseph Mc Gonigle and many additional nieces and nephews.
