Funeral services took place Aug. 12 for Jorge “El Guajiro” Diaz, of West New York. He passed away Aug. 9 surrounded by his family at Holy Name Medical Center, Teaneck. Jorge was born in was born in Florida, Camaguey, Cuba. He owned and operated Diana Tropical Distribution. Jorge is survived by his companion, Martha Burgos, his children, Diana Diaz-Benefield and her husband Karl, Brandonlee Diaz, Danny Burgos and George Mazzetti, his grandson Lucas X. Benefield, his sister Estrella Garrido, his stepfather Juan Garrido, and his nieces Ivis and Isis Garcia. Services arranged by the Barquin Funeral Home, Guttenberg.
