To the Editor:
Michael Alonso’s pedantic letter regarding speed cameras misses the point. Instead of being a typical, self-led motorist, Mr. Alonso should put himself in the feet of a construction worker working on either a scorching day or at 3 a.m., where they are taking their lives into their hands via speeders, tailgaters, drunks, etc. Plus, the revenues that these cruds are going to pay upon receiving their tickets in the mail are supposedly going to help out our state financially. Being out of touch with the wants and needs of drivers who don’t want to pay citations for menacing driving is an advocacy of degeneracy. One of the few terrific things that Hillary Clinton tried to do was re-instate the 55MPH speed limit in the United States.
Enough already!
