McALARNEY, RAYMOND X. JR.

of Brick, formerly of Bayonne, passed away surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with cancer on September 16, 2017 at the Meridian Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Brick, NJ. “Ray” as he was known by all, was born and raised in Jersey City and had lived in Bayonne for more than 30 until his recent illness. He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond X. McAlarney Sr., and Charita A. McAlarney (nee: Murtha), and his brother, John McAlarney. Survived by his five sisters, Patricia Bannon (Joseph), Maureen Healy (Timothy), Charita Palumbo (Richard), Kathleen McAlarney, and Margaret Mary Valverde (Juan), and many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
