A funeral mass was offered Sept. 25 at St. Lawrence Church, Weehawken, for Bessie Laino, 101, of Weehawken. She passed away Sept. 21, at the Oakland Rehab Center in Oakland. Born in Hoboken to the late Mario and Josephine Guerrera, Bessie lived most of her life in Weehawken where she raised her family. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas. Survivors include her daughters Frances and her late husband Arthur, Josephine Chiurazzi and her late husband Nicola and Carol Danchise and her late husband Kenny. Also surviving are her grandchildren Scott Ramirez, Lois Carr, Joseph Chiurazzi, Brian Danchise and Heather Danchise, as well as her great grandchildren Stephen and Daniel Ramirez, Nicholas and Michael Carr and Ava Chiurazzi. Bessie was the sister of the late Sadie DiBrango, late Angela Leahy, late Thomas Guerrera and the late Alfred Guerrera.
