To the Editor:
The 9th Annual Walk in the Park to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation will be held on October 15 at the Stephen R. Gregg Park in Bayonne at 11 a.m. The Walk in the Park is an effort of the Estee Lauder Company’s Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign. This year’s Walk in the Park will kick off at the flagpole on the upper level of the park. Registration begins at 10:15 a.m. Requested donation is $20. Checks should be made payable to BCRF or Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The eight prior walks have raised a combined total of close to $35,000, all of which has been donated to Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The 2017 Campaign theme, “25 years ago, there was no pink ribbon. Time to end breast cancer” highlights the Estee Lauder Company’s 25-year commitment to defeating breast cancer through education and medical research and pays tribute to the life and legacy of BCA Campaign Founder and Pink Ribbon co-creator, Evelyn Lauder. Please join us and bring a friend; remember to wear pink! Contact Colleen Raccioppi at cracciop@aramis.com with any questions.
