Division of Recreation to begin Grassroots Youth Instructional Basketball Program for Boys & Girls in 3rd to 5th Grade

The Division of Recreation will begin a grassroots youth instructional basketball program for boys and girls in the 3rd through 5th grade, beginning in December.
Under the instruction of Former Bayonne High School Basketball Varsity Head Coach, Jack Hladik, players will receive 8 weeks of instruction and pick-up play.
The program will run on Monday and Wednesday evenings, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m., at Washington School. There will be 30 minutes of basketball drills, and 30 minutes of pick-up play each session.
There are 80 spots available. Once registered, the Division of Recreation will place each player on a team. The fee for the program is $50/player. Each player will receive a reversible jersey. The deadline to register is November 15. The program is set to begin on Monday, December 4. You may register in the Recreation Division, located in City Hall Room #13.
