SECAUCUS — The State Health Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Oct. 19 regarding the ongoing sale of Meadowlands Hospital, according to a press release from the NJ department of Health.
The hearing will concern the application from Long Island developer Yan Moshe to purchase the hospital. After the hearing, NJ Dept. of Health staffers will prepare staff recommendations for the board.
Once the board holds its meeting and makes its recommendations, the state health commissioner has up to 120 days to issue her final decision letter.
The board will hold the hearing at the Holiday Inn, at 300 Plaza Dr., Meadowlands Rooms 1-3, from 6 to 7 p.m.
Citizens can also submit comments after the hearing at the following address, through Oct. 26.
