As a Hoboken Little League coach for the past 21 years, I’d like to extend my sincerest gratitude and appreciation to Assemblywoman Annette Chaparro, for her thoughtful gift to the Chirichella Boys – 2017 Little League Champs.
To my surprise, Annette generously purchased the team’s championship jackets.
As we know, Hoboken Little League brings hundreds of young boys together, teaching them not only the skills of baseball, but instilling lifelong values of teamwork, hard work and resiliency.
After speaking to me about our team’s elation after winning the Little League Championship, for the second consecutive year, Annette asked what she could do for “The Boys” to commend this joyous achievement. Unbeknownst to me, Annette generously purchased the team’s championship jackets.
From one Hobokenite to another, I want to send a huge thank you to Assembly woman, Annette Chaparro, who exemplifies what it means to serve her constituents with compassion and integrity.
