Bayonne Hispanic Day Parade

The thirteenth annual Bayonne Hispanic Parade was held on Sunday, October 22, with various local organizations marching from 5th Street and Broadway and ending at 22nd Street with a festival, complete with a diverse range of Hispanic and Latino foods. The theme of this year’s parade and festival was “uniting the community.”
Honorees this year were Yanina Sanchez, Godmother of Parade; Ney Lanez, Godfather of Parade; Dianna Lopez, Honoree from Peru; Victor Gomes, Modesto Ramirez Jr., Victor Munoz, JeyreenRamires Robles, Lucas Diaz, Shane Murphy, Jessica Caamano, Luis Valentin, and Geison Mojica, all police officers or detectives, Capt. Roger Nunez, Fireman of the Year; Bayonne Police Explorers, organization of the Year; and Elieric Rios, Police Explorer of the Year.
