JERSEY CITY — The death of a 2-week-old baby in a Central Avenue apartment on Nov. 24 is being investigated.
“The Hudson County Prosecutor Office’s homicide unit responded and continues to investigate. A report by the regional medical examiner’s office is pending,” said Ray Worrell, a spokesperson for the prosecutor, on Tuesday.
The girl was found non-responsive and bleeding at about 8 a.m. and rushed to Christ Hospital, where she pronounced dead, according to a published account.
Further details have yet to be released.
