To the Editor:
The state audit of the Bayonne Board of Education books has been completed, and according to the state auditor, “money is not missing.” My question as a taxpayer and employee of the Bayonne Board of Education is when will the Board of Education issue an apology to Mr. Will Lawson, former President of the Board of Education; Dr. Patricia L. McGeehan, former Superintendent of Schools; and Mr. Leo Smith, current Business Manager. Accusations were made against these individuals. The audit proves those accusations were false. Please make amends to those whose personal lives and reputations were damaged and let us move on and work together for the benefit of the children of Bayonne.
