FERRANTE, SERAFINO PIETRO “PETE”

94, passed away on December 12, 2017. He was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident. Mr. Ferrante was a technical writer for Bell Labs, retiring in 1989. He proudly served the nation as a member of the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Ferrante was predeceased by his wife, Carmela (nee: Perri). He is survived by his daughter, Mary Appel, and her husband, Elliot; and his grandchildren, Danielle McCarthy, and her husband, Andrew, and Alexandra Appel. He was predeceased by his siblings, Mary Schiros and Virgina Keller. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blessed Miriam Teresa Soup Kitchen, 326 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ 07002.
