WEEHAWKEN — Those who wish to file petitions for the Weehawken Board of Education election in April have to file at the Hudson County Board of Elections by Feb. 26, at 4 p.m., according to Weehawken school officials.
So far, three incumbents have filed for re-election to the nine-person board, according to the town’s Board of Ed office. They include Board President Richard Barsa, and board members Jennifer Bolcar and Meg Carson. The board appointed Bolcar last September, and Carson last November, an official at the Board of Education office said. Board members are appointed to three-year terms.
The election will be held on April. 17.
