Port Authority Police arrest Jets linebacker for alleged DWI crash in Lincoln Tunnel

WEEHAWKEN — The Port Authority Police arrested rookie Jets Linebacker Dylan Donahue, 25, for an alleged DWI after a crash in the Lincoln Tunnel Monday morning, according to a press release.
According to the release, around 2 a.m. Feb. 26, PA Police saw a Dodge Charger drive around traffic cones and into the tunnel’s center tube at the Weehawken end against traffic.
The car collided with a jitney bus in the tunnel with 15 passengers, the release said. Officials transported four of those passengers to Hoboken University Medical Center for treatment. The remaining passengers continued their travel with a second jitney, the release said.
Police said Donahue failed both a sobriety and breathalyzer test at the scene, and was placed under arrest, according to the Port Authority. Officers also arrested passenger Suleiman Mahmood, 21, for disorderly conduct during the investigation.
Donahue is charged with DWI and reckless driving.
