JERSEY CITY – The Jersey City police responded to Mayor Steven Fulop’s Ogden home in Jersey City Heights at around 7:30 p.m. on Easter Sunday on the report of an intruder.
Police said the person in question was not the Easter bunny, but a 30-year-old woman. The police had not publicly identified her Monday morning.
The woman was arrested and charged with burglary, harassment, and stalking, said city spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione.
A published report said this is the second time the woman has been arrested for allegedly stalking Fulop.
