Douglas O’Neill Point Dedication

BAYONNE – On Wednesday, April 25, there will be a dedication of the Douglas O’Neill Point. The dedication starts at 11 a.m. across the street from the Bayonne Museum at 227 Broadway. Light refreshments to follow at the museum. Douglas O’Neill is the only MIA from Hudson County from the Vietnam War. He was shot down on April 5, 1972 while on a rescue mission. Mayor James Davis and the members of the Bayonne City Council invite the public to attend.
