66, passed away at the Bayonne Medical Center surrounded by his family. Jimmy was born and raised in Jersey City and lived in Bayonne for the past 30 years with his wife and daughters. Jimmy retired from the banking industry after over a 45 year career. He was a member of the Marist High School Board and enjoyed coaching BYSA Soccer. Jimmy will be missed by many and especially by his wife of 42 years Cheryl (Murphy) Iorio, his two daughters Jessica Iorio, her husband Brian McDonald, and Kristyn Iorio. Jimmy was predeceased by his parents Salvatore and Mary Iorio. He will also be missed by his sister Mary Elyse Carter and brother Thomas Iorio, as well as, his many brother and sister in-laws, Eileen and Dan Dryzga, Rich and Patricia Mangine, Regina Murphy and Chris Bernard and Raymond and Lisa Murphy – with many more nieces and nephews. A scholarship fund has been established in his name at Marist High School in Bayonne, NJ. Funeral arrangements by LAWTON Funeral Home, 631 Washington St., Hoboken.
