LYP, ALEKSANDER

71, of Bayonne, passed away at home on April 27, 2018 surrounded by his family. “Alek”, as he was affectionately known by all, was born in Poland and came to the United States in 1990 where he settled with his family in Bayonne. In 1993 he and his wife Teresa established Alex and Terry’s Deli in Bayonne. Alek was a member of the Atlas Yacht Club where his passion for boating and fishing was well known. Predeceased by parents, Theodore and Ludwika (Kirylok) Lyp. Survived by wife Teresa (nee: Stepien); sons, Grzegorz (Adriana), Leo (Margaret) and sister Donna Machnowski (and late husband George).
