Hoboken police need help to identify suspects

HOBOKEN — The Hoboken Police Department issued a press release today May 3 asking residents to help identify five alleged suspects in connection with two separate incidents.
According to the release, the top photo is of a white man of approximately 6’1″ with tattoos on his left arm who may have been involved in an altercation on April 7 at Cadillac Cantina at 80 River St. The victim was allegedly struck in the face and suffered several facial injuries.
The bottom photo shows four men who are “persons of interest” in a robbery that occurred on Friday, April, 27.
These four men allegedly surrounded a victim in the area of Fourth and Monroe streets, struck him, threw him to the ground, and fled the scene with his sneakers and wallet.
They were last seen fleeing west on Fourth Street through the Hoboken Housing Area and later toward Jersey City. The victim did not suffer any serious injuries. The men in the photo were seen about an hour prior to the incident inside a local convenience store on Washington Street, and they are believed to be the same males involved in the incident.
Anyone with information as to the identity of these individuals is asked to contact Det. Adam Colon from the Investigative Bureau at colona@hobokenpd.org or 201-420-5102. All calls will remain confidential.
