Born in Jersey City, Barbara was the wife to the late Thomas Fitzmaurice and the mother to Kristy Ann Fitzmaurice and husband Franco Moran and to Kelly Denise Fitzmaurice, and was grandmother to Matthew Moran. She was pre-deceased by her sister Mary Gerber & husband Greg and in-laws David Sullivan & Barbara Piazza and surviving her are her siblings Andrew Piazza, Paula Piazza & husband Ken Meade, Rosemarie Sullivan and Joann Collins & husband Patrick.
