Juan Perez thanks the voters

To the Editor:

I wish to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the voters of the great city of Bayonne for the victory that will be noted throughout the state of New Jersey—the sweeping re-election of the Davis ticket on May 8, 2018.
The people spoke loud and clear in this most important and crucial election. Politics was not in the forefront, but the health, safety, and wellbeing of all of the residents, and the care of the residents over the past four years was voted upon. The voters marched to the polling places, closed the curtains behind them, and cast their ever-precious vote for the entire Davis team.
I sincerely believe that we did, in this election, wage a fair, honest, and clean campaign, and we remained on point with the issues that affect all in Bayonne, from the very young to the most senior resident. The matter of government, by, for, and of the people was and will certainly continue to be paramount in all actions taken.
The promise will continue to rise that people will always be placed first in the initial and final analysis in our fair city. God bless Bayonne, Hudson County, New Jersey, and the United States of America.
