Nineteen bowlers from Bayonne Recreation participated in the New Jersey Special Olympic North Sectional Bowling Meet. They placed first or second in the Area One Bowling Meet to get to qualify for this competition. Those placing first or second in this meet will move on to the State Bowling Meet. Congratulations to those who moved on to the next competition. The results from the Sectional Bowling Meet are as follows:

The athletes were accompanied to the meet by their coaches, and fans: Ronnie Burns, Chris Burns, Robyn Bolles, Joseph Bolles, Jillian Bergalowski, Tessie Diaz, Anastasia Lee, and Robert Lee. Everyone was very proud of the athletes’ performances today.
