Raptors beat the Lakers, 83-81. This was the game of the day. Raptors overtime heroic by AJ Kemp and Derel Williams Lamont pulled this one for them. Kevin Walker’s 36 point effort wasn’t enough for them.
Raptors – Derel Williams Lamont: 26, Justine Conroy: 21, AJ Kemp: 16, Nile C: 10, Tyreik P: 4, Dejon: 2
Lakers – Kevin Walker: 36, M Barry: 15, Tyrone Hicklen: 8, Frank A: 8, Mike Love: 8, Rob King: 2, Brian Pipher: 2, Curt Tre-Realz Simon: 2
Sixers defeated the Mavs, 54-45. It was an easy going for the Sixers showing their young talent led by Alvin Adams and A Faison. For Rashad Callaway of the Mavs, I wish he had some help but it shows his professionalism and poise even on a losing effort.
Sixers – Alvin Adams: 17, A Faison: 12, D Walker: 8, Kevin Johnson: 6, K Fisher: 5, Rah Davis: 4, J Gonzales: 2
Mavs – S Strathan: 13, Rashad Callaway: 12, J.R. Bell: 11, Birdie Reyes: 6, Manuel Aulov: 3
Spurs won against the Celtics, 89-82. In another overtime game, Spurs started to gel as a team but the surprising Celtics and their team chemistry gave the Spurs a run for their money. This was an exciting game to watch; clean basketball. The game was fluid if you know what I mean: 10 lead changes in the last 5 minutes.
Spurs – JJ Hladik: 21, Alex Mirabel: 19, Milk S: 14, Joey Stevenson: 13, Jeffrey Fortune: 10, Jack Flynn: 9, Rodney Jean-Baptiste: 3
Celtics – Sear Bastien: 35, JP Anacreon: 20, Thomas: 9, JR M: 8, Lex: 4, Mike Lowry: 3
