Control Services beat CWV, 6-3. Emma Flores pitched a two-hitter striking out 12 batters and walking nine. Emma also got a base hit. Annie O’Neill also gave up three hits for CWV with 10 strikeouts. Control put the game out of reach by scoring five runs in the second inning. Samantha Boehm and Maddie Ashe had hits for the winners; while the Gaetani sisters, Caitlin and Jenna had both hits for CWV with Caitlin pounding a double.
FMBA defeated Stop and Shop, 14-7. Shea Torres was the top hitter for FMBA with two hits, including a double, Eva Reynolds cleared the bases in the second inning with an inside the park homer, while the Diaz sisters, Maddie and Sophia had the other hits for the FMBA’s with Maddie getting a double. Kelly Hester lead Stop and Shop with a double, while Jayden Bailey had base hits for Stop and Shop.
