Register now for CarePoint health’s free stroke wellness lunch & learn

JERSEY CITY – Hudson County residents can learn more about how to prevent strokes, or manage the side effects of having had one, at a CarePoint Health-Christ Hospital Lunch & Learn program on Wednesday, June 13 from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Attendees of the Stroke Wellness program will hear presentations from a doctor and health care professionals from the fields of nutrition, pharmacy, physical therapy and speech language pathology. They will educate participants about practices to help avoid strokes and measures to take if an individual has had one.
A question-and-answer session will be part of the program.
In addition, attendees will also be treated to a free, heart-healthy lunch.
