WOZNIAK, IRENE M. (nee: Plytynski)

passed away on June 10, 2018 at the Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains. She was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident. Irene was the administrator of the Anatomy Department at U.M.D.M.J. in Newark for 25 years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Bayonne. Irene was predeceased by her husband Joseph Wozniak and her siblings; Stanley, Walter and Edmund Plytynski and Helen Bertoni. Mother of Joseph F. Wozniak Jr. and John J. Wozniak and his wife Constance. Grandmother of Joseph F. III, Jaclyn M., Christopher J., John J. Jr. and Brandon M. Wozniak. Sister of Janet Hurley and her late husband Joseph.
