Major League
Control Services beat Stop and Shop, 7-2. The Controllers advanced to the championship game in the Major League Softball double elimination tournament. They must defeat CWV twice to win the title. Emma Flores was the “girl of the hour” as she hurled a five hitter, striking out 15, walking three and getting a base hit. Maddie Ashe was the top batter with two hits, while Samantha Boehm, Emily Matos and Lilah Gomez all had base hits. Olivia Weber contributed a double and single for Stop and Shop and struck out 12 batters on the mound. Jaden Bailey also had two hits and Jadalee Gonzalez had a single.
Minor League
Perrucci defeated Tarantino, 11-3. Brandon Kahle and Ethan Smith combined to pitch a three-hitter with nine strikeouts and four walks. Ethan had two hits which one was a double. Anthony Weimmer also had three hits Perrucci, including an inside the park homer and a double; Annalyse Columbani and Niko Johnson each had a base hit for Tarantino.
