Funeral mass took place June 23 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Jersey City, for Ronald R. Cappelletti “Cappy,” 82, of Jersey City and formerly of Cliffside Park. He passed away at home surrounded by his family on June 20. Affectionately known as Cappy, he was the owner of L & S Machine Company in Guttenberg. He also served in the U.S. Army. Ronald was the husband of 56 years to Eileen; father of Maria Portas, Lisa Silcox and husband John, Angela Ciraco and husband Nick; grandfather of Lauren and her fiance Kyle Fernandes, Matthew Portas, Alyssa Togneri and husband Brandon, Christopher Silcox, Nicholas, Andrew and Gabriella Ciraco; brother-in-law of John and Gina Mercante.
