Bayonne Little League Minor League championship game

Bielan Law won against Kuhl’s, 6-3. Bielan Law wins the 2018 Hattenberg Minor League Championship. The Bielans swept the championship series by taking game two by a 6-3 score at Volunteer Stadium. Kuhl’s took a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning on a hit batsman and five walks. Bielan scored a run in the first, Jared Edwards got a base hit and rode home on a triple by Paul Erwin; the Bielans closed the gap to 3-2 on four walks and when a batter got hit by a pitch. The Attorneys put the game in the win column in the fourth frame with four markers. Jared and Ethan Villacres got the big hits. Ethan got another hit for Bielan. Edwards, Patrick Cena, Logan Servodio and Ethan divided the mound chores with Patrick getting the victory and Patrick picking up the save, all four pitchers gave up three hits, struck out 11 but passed 11, however, they managed to get out of several jams. Logan also made some excellent defensive plays at second, including two game saving plays in the final inning. Ty Yoon pitched an excellent game for Kuhl’s giving up three runs, striking out seven and issuing five free tickets, but it had to leave the mound due to the pitch count rule. Ty also got two of his three hits and Aidan Mota got the other base hit for Kuhl’s.
