HOBOKEN — Hoboken has a new online platform to view City Council documents and watch meetings live. Residents who are unable to attend the meetings in person can watch them live at 7 p.m. on meeting days.
According to the release, the live stream can be found at http://hobokennj.iqm2.com/Citizens/Default.aspx. It can also be found by going to www.hobokennj.gov going to the Government drop-down menu and clicking on City Council. Live streams are available for all regular City Council meetings.
City Council meetings take place on the first and third Wednesday of each month. Due to the Fourth of July holiday, the only council meeting in July is tonight, Wednesday, July 11 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 94 Washington St.
After that, the next City Council meeting will take place Wednesday, Aug. 1.
Check out your local newspaper each week to read about the meetings: hudsonreporter.com. Tonight’s meeting will be covered in the July 22 edition due to changing deadlines.
