Reports: Dead infant in suitcase for months

JERSEY CITY – In testimony given before a court hearing on July 11, county prosecutors reportedly said that the body of a child abandoned on the PATH train tracks in March had been in a suitcase for months prior to being dumped.
Travis Plummer, the child’s father, has been charged with allegedly dumping the remains on the tracks. Prosecutors at his bail hearing said that he allegedly had originally kept the remains of his 23-month old daughter, Te’Myah Layauna Plummer, in a suitcase in a garage after having left Virginia, where the baby lived.
Plummer has pleaded not guilty to improper disposal of human remains.
