AMICO, KATHLEEN

A funeral mass took place July 10 at Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus, for Kathleen (Kay) Amico, 95, of Cape Coral, Fla., formerly of Secaucus. She passed away July 2 at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral, Fla. Daughter of the late Dewey and Rose (Marzano) Hawes, she is survived by sons Daniel (Deborah), Donald, Paul, and Robert (Patti), 11 grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Also survived by a sister Ann Sisson, daughter-in-law Susan Amico, sister-in-law Angie Fell, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband of 57 years Charles, son John, sister May Minnear, and brother John Hawes. She was a very active member of Immaculate Conception Church in Secaucus for many years before moving to Florida where she was very active at St. Andrew’s Church in Cape Coral where she was a member of the Council of Catholic Women.
