BROWN, JAMES JOSEPH

Funeral mass was held July 7 at St. Brendan’s R.C. Church, Clifton, for James Joseph Brown, 72, of Jersey City. He passed away June 17. He was employed by Hudson County as security and maintenance. He volunteered at (PERK) Palisades Emergency Shelter in Union City, DIAL Recreation in Clifton, and R.S.V.P. He enjoyed crafting, cooking, fishing, and volunteering for R.S.V.P. He is predeceased by his parents, John Brown Sr. and Esther; his sister, Rita Joyce; and daughter, Tracey Brown. He is survived by his significant other, Susan Kramer; the mother of his children, Jane Banks; his children, James, Alex, and Tex Brown; his step-children, Neil and Cristina Miranda, and Jennifer Bedenbaugh; son-in-law, Bryan Bedenbaugh; daughter-in-law, Candace Brown; and his seven grandchildren, Justice, Faith, Dakota, Halo, and Silas Brown, and Camden and Madison Bedenbaugh.
