85, passed away at Select Specialty Hospital in Rochelle Park, NJ on July 11. John was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident. Husband of the late Joan C. (Higgins) Delaney. Father of John J. Delaney Jr. and his wife Grace, Thomas W. Delaney Sr. and his wife Sharon, Kathleen Tarbett and her husband Matthew, Robert Shane Delaney and Kevin D. Delaney. Grandfather of John J Delaney III and his wife Kristen, Matthew Tarbett II and his wife Megan, Kaitlyn Tarbett and her fiance Michael Collins and Thomas W. Delaney Jr. Great Grandfather of Matthew Tarbett III. Brother of the late Hannah Bilak, Helene Kimak, Mae Buzinkai, William Delaney and Frank Delaney. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
