88, of Bayonne passed away on July 16 at his residence. Albert was born in Brooklyn, NY, and lived in Staten Island, then moved to Bayonne in 1940. Albert was a husband to Fiore “Florence” (nee: Luberti), a father to Joseph and his fiancée Anna Mari, a grandfather to Christina Nunziata, Melanie, Danielle, and Julie Petulla. A brother to Ann Marie Barrella, also survived by his daughter-in-law Helen Petulla, his caregiver Anna Klosek and a host of nieces and nephews. Albert was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Concetta, his son Albert J., and his siblings Philip Petulla, Rose DeRosa, Angelo and Anthony Scianni, Mary Castagna, and Carmella Holle. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Albert’s memory to the Compassionate Care Hospice, envelopes provided at the funeral home.
