What a great elimination round for the last two weeks. The headlines should be no three-peat this year. The Hornets upset the defending champion, OKC, by two points. It was a back and forth affair. OKC was missing big man Rod Q. And the Hornets played the last two minutes like they should. During the regular season they always could not figure out the last 2 minute game. The game ended Hornets with 74 and OKC with 72.
The greatest losing team of all time, the Mavs, gave the number one ranked team a run for their money. Rashad Callaway was cooking in the first 5 minutes until the Lakers proved to everyone that they are the team to beat. This roster is complete with big man Tyrone Hicklen controlling the boards. And, fresh from his ESPN stint, Kevin Walker, the best point guard of the league, showed how to lead and win big. I could only say this if Manuel Aulov hit his threes.
