Dear Editor:
Trump claimed once that the media was the enemy of the people, full of “fake news”; and, after his summit meeting with Russia’s Putin, trying to make our relations with that country less hostile and confrontational, all channels of media, TV and radio, dumped on him, some calling for his impeachment as a traitor. A traitor, for trying to make the world a more peaceful place!
The traitors in our country are the military/industrial/security complex desperate to restart the Cold War with Russia, because their livelihoods depend on “perpetual war for perpetual peace.” (A term coined by Charles Beard, American historian).
