Former Secaucus native returns on book tour

HUDSON COUNTY — Touting the publication of his third novel, “The Delivery Man,” Jon D’Amore will appear in Secaucus, Union City and Jersey City.
A former resident of Secaucus and Union City, D’Amore will read from his latest book at the Secaucus Public Library on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m., at the William Musto Cultural Center in Union City on Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. and at the Historic Jersey City & Harsimus Cemetery at 7 p.m. on Sept. 28.
“The Delivery Man” continues D’Amore’s fascination with the underworld, although unlike his first two novels which had significant autobiographical elements, the new book explores the motivation behind a vigilante.
His return to Hudson County is part of a nationwide road trip that started in Los Angeles where he currently lives and works.
D’Amore moved to Los Angeles to complete his memoir, “The Boss Always Sits In The Back,” his first book, and has since published “Deadfellas” which also includes stories of the underworld as well as zombies.
