Hoboken fire department extinguishes 2-alarm fire

The Hoboken Fire Department extinguished a 2-alarm fire at 166 Sixth St. on Monday, Sept. 24.
According to Chief Brian Crimmins, a neighbor of the three-family house called in the fire, which was in a first-floor apartment.
Group D, led by Battalion Chief Moyeno, extinguished the fire.
No one was injured, although three members of the Hoboken Fire Department were evaluated on scene for possible smoke inhalation. They were able to return to duty.
Crimmins could not comment on the cause of the fire but stated that an investigator was on the scene.
