MATTICOLA, ANTHONY J.

A funeral mass was offered Sept. 21 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Jersey City, for Anthony Joseph Matticola, 72, a lifelong resident of Jersey City’s Marion Section and devout parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. He passed away Sept. 16. Anthony was the son of the late Anthony and Rose Matticola; cousin of Barbara Murphy, Jacqueline Aguila, Mary Ann Lopiccola, Cynthia Wirth, Loretta Kosiba, Louis Massa, Adrienne Moore and Jo Lin Jennings; friend of Peter Orrico and Ralph Donato. He is also survived by classmates of the first graduating class of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School, Jersey City. Services arranged by the Riotto Funeral Home, Jersey City.
