HOBOKEN–From Tuesday, Oct.16 and through Friday, Oct. 19, construction crews are milling, paving and striping of Harrison Street between Fourth Street and Newark Street.
The resurfacing of Harrison Street is part of the city’s Southwest Traffic Improvement Plan, which included three new traffic signals and other circulation changes in southwest Hoboken that were implemented in 2017.
The work will also include enhanced pedestrian crossings, a buffered bicycle lane, and a second travel lane to improve traffic flow between Paterson Avenue and Observer Highway.
Drivers should expect delays both on Harrison Street and cross streets as streets will be closed at times due to contractor operations.
Work hours will be between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
