A warm thank you

To the Editor:

The Pulaski Parade Memorial Committee wishes to extend a warm thank you to all participants in the 81st Annual Pulaski Day Parade and the Pulaski Commemorative Program and Flag Raising Ceremony.

We also extend a big thank you to our Bayonne contingent marshal Kenneth Kopacz for his support to our committee and his leadership in representing Bayonne on this special day.  We gratefully acknowledge our sponsors for their contributions to the Souvenir Journal and to those who attended Kenneth’s sashing celebration.  Our committee included others who also gave of their time to make the parade a success and we thank you for your help.

This year our parade was filled with lots of energy and excitement for all.  Parade officials estimate that 200,000 people turned out to watch and celebrate.

We are very proud of this time-honored tradition and it is our privilege to help bring our community together to honor and celebrate Polish culture, history and heritage.

Again, thank you for your continued commitment to the values and mission of the Pulaski Parade Memorial Committee.  Without your support this parade would not happen.

I look forward to next year.

God bless proud Polonia!
