HYLAND, WILLIAM V.

A funeral mass was offered Oct. 5 at St. Paul the Apostle Church, Jersey City, for William V. Hyland, 70. He passed away Oct. 1 at home. Born in Jersey City, Billy was a lifelong resident. He worked for the City of Jersey City in Public Works Department for 40 years. He served his country in the US Army in Vietnam. He was the son of the late Adele (Shaughnessy) and William Hyland; brother of Rosemary Carr, Thomas Hyland, Anna Eve, Helen Kawalski, Linda Bodner, Rita Manzi, Jane Hyland, Edward Hyland, Barbara Hyland-Soto, Patricia Hyland, Vincent Hyland and the late Charlie Hyland. Services arranged by the Greenville Memorial Home, Jersey City.
